What this website does
This website advertises our jewellery services and provides ways to contact the workshop. It does not accept online bookings, orders or payments. A website enquiry is not a confirmed appointment or a service agreement. We arrange and perform work in person at the workshop; customers bring items to us and collect them in person.
Website text, service descriptions and photographs are general information and examples of previous work. They do not replace an in-person inspection or promise that a particular repair or result is suitable for every item. Information and availability may change; please contact us to confirm details for a specific item or service. We aim to keep the website available, but access may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance or technical reasons.
Inspection, estimate and approval
We inspect each item and discuss the requested work, price and expected completion date with the customer. We do not begin work until the customer has approved the estimate and the work to be carried out. If inspection reveals additional work or cost, we will discuss it and obtain approval before proceeding with that additional work.
Jewellery can have hidden wear, previous repairs, loose stones, thin sections or other conditions that affect the available methods and outcome. Please tell us about prior treatments or changes and any known damage. We will explain relevant risks we identify before work begins.
Customer-supplied gold and other materials
Some designs or transformations require additional gold. We will calculate the extra amount needed and explain it before starting. The customer may provide the required gold. If the customer does not have it, the customer must pay the agreed amount based on the market price at the time so we can arrange the gold before work begins.
Careful methods are chosen for the item and agreed work, but jewellery condition and design affect what can be achieved. For example, previous treatment with chemicals can make cleaning and polishing more difficult. A thin design or a customer’s choice to proceed against our structural recommendation may carry a greater risk of bending or breaking. We will explain known concerns before work; the customer decides whether to proceed after that discussion.
Prices, payments and cancellation
Most work is paid for after it is completed. An advance is optional for most work, but additional gold or its agreed market-price equivalent must be provided or paid for before work requiring that material starts. The workshop usually accepts cash and UPI; confirm the available method and amount with us when approving the work.
Some processes are irreversible. Before starting, we will explain this and confirm the customer’s choice. If the customer later asks us to stop, the customer must pay a reasonable partial amount for the time and work already completed, as discussed with the customer before proceeding. We will agree with the customer how any unused additional gold or material is handled before work begins.
Items left with the workshop and collection
We track items left for work and keep each customer’s belongings separate while they are at the workshop. Completion and collection dates are agreed individually. Collection is in person at the workshop; we do not accept or return jewellery by courier or delivery.
There is no additional storage fee for an item that remains uncollected. We will make reasonable efforts to contact the customer and remind them to collect it. Please contact us promptly if your contact details change or you need to discuss collection.
After-work concerns
We do not offer a blanket warranty with one fixed period for every type of work. Any job-specific follow-up period or limitation will be explained for that job. If you are concerned about a completed repair, contact us promptly and bring the item to the workshop so we can inspect it.
We will explain honestly what we find and discuss a suitable next step. If the issue resulted from our workmanship, we will take responsibility and discuss how to proceed. The assessment may also consider any pre-existing weakness or damage, later impact or alteration, prior chemical treatment, or a design choice made after we explained a structural concern. Nothing in these terms takes away rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
Services for children
For ear piercing for a child, a parent or legal guardian must be present and approve the service.
